Card 06 | Bob Aufuldish

Bob Aufuldish hails from San Anselmo, Ca. He works and co-owns, Aufuldish & Warinner, and has done work for a ton of great clients, including Chronicle Books, whom I love love love and usually do most of my Christmas shopping there.

Thanks, Bob!

Card 05 | José Cruz

José Cruz is an awesome illustrator from Dallas, Texas. Check out his work here!

He has a great collection of caricatures here, and even did one for me and included it on my card. My mom says it looks just like me. Hoppy Easter to you, too!

I wish I could illustrate.

Card 04 | Matt de Frain

Matt de Frain is associate creative director at Grant Design Collaborative. He has done a lot of really good work that have been recognized from all over. I used to collect these fortunes anf even keep a few good ones in my wallet.

"With a little more hard work, you creativity take you to great height."

Gotta love those translations.

Thanks for the karma, Matt. You're helping me keep going with this project even though I have received 5 or Return to Sender. Take care!

Card 03 | Zipfly Creative

I got some happy greetings from the crew at Zipfly Creative! I love this vintage postcard style they found, and like the little comic book bubbles saying Hello!

hello, zipfly!

Card 02 | Scott McAfee

Scott McAfee is from good ol' Austin, Texas. He works at the incredible sanders\wingo located in a super nice office space near the UT campus. I had the opportunity to meet with him once and he gave me some of the best advice I've had in a while. Check out their work, and see that Scott must be extra nice to take the time to visit with me, while he has a lot of other things going on.

Round 2 | Card 01 | Charles Nix

Hey everyone!

Round two participants are beginning to come in (hooray!) and I am excited! One of my first cards was from Charles Nix, of New York City. He is a pretty important guy over at Scott & Nix, Inc. and is the current president of the Type Director's Club. What a guy! (I love the 'g'!)

Card 39 | Mason from Maseman

Hey gang!

I sent out my list of 100 card out last week and am hoping to get some in by the end of the month. I am very excited to see what people will come up with! I sent 10 to movie and Broadway stars, so I will double over with excitement if I get something back from Sutton Foster or Zach Braff.

When I was collecting addresses and meeting great people from cyberland, I came across a local Austin artist who was awesome enough to send me a card. His name is Mason, and he has a great site of illustration, design, a blog, and more here. Check him out, and thanks to Mason for this neat card. Some of it is a bit blurry, since it was warped in the mail a bit. It gives it a really nice touch. Tell me what you think it is about! I think the ninja is happy.
